Leviticus 19:34 (ESV) “34 You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”
Matthew 25:35 (ESV) “35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,”
Here at North Shore, we understand that visiting a church can be a difficult thing to do. We want our church to be in sync with the call God has placed on our lives to welcome new people into our midst—(see above verses) Our goal is to make those who are visiting here feel as welcome and loved as possible. Although we trust our entire church is in the business of helping to make new people feel welcome, our Assimilation Ministry Team leads the way, being very intentional about meeting the new people at North Shore as well as arranging events to help them get to know us better.
