Fighter Verses – An Overview
Fighter Verses is a Bible memorizing program put together by Truth78. This is an excerpt from their website:
“The five-year Fighter Verses™ Bible memory program features 260 essential verses to arm believers to fight for faith and love, and against unbelief and sin. You are encouraged to memorize one verse or short passage a week on your own, with your family, or together as an entire church body.”
As a church, we began this program the first week of January 2024. Please go to the website and familiarize yourself with the program, as a whole. There are some points below that you may find helpful. If you have any questions, please contact the church office, as we would love to see 100% participation in this wonderful program and Christian discipline!
As of Monday, September 14th, we are currently on the final verse of Set 1 Week 38 – Click HERE for our current Fighter Verse.
- Fighter Verses is a Bible passage memorization program that is broken up into yearly sets. There are 5 sets in all.
- There is one memory passage a week. Work on it with your family throughout the week. NSC will be doing the previous week’s passage all together during the 10AM church service, so make sure to work on it through the week!
- There are many ways to know which passage we will be working on. Click HERE to go to their website and check out all their resources. There are cards that you can purchase, which would be a great idea for people who need a physical reminder to work on their verses. There is an accompanying journal (available for Sets 1-4) that you can purchase and use, to help meditate on the passage. There are coloring sheets for Sets 1-3, so not available for our 2024 set. There are also songs to every passage that you can purchase, for those who find memorizing lyrics easier than just a plain, spoken passage. The church has ordered each of these items, so you can see them before you buy them. Make sure to stop into the NSC office!
- Did you know – THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT! The passage, devotional, songs, and more can be found on the Fighter Verse app! You can find it HERE, along with more information about the app’s capabilities. For $2.99, you can have the whole program at your fingertips!
- For parent’s with young children, there is a FOUNDATIONS program that may interest you! This goes through foundational Bible passages that all Christians should know. Check that out HERE.
- There are a TON of free resources, like memorization trackers and plans to help you build this into your family’s time of worship throughout the week. Go to their website, or contact the church office if you need help finding these.
