Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes due back THIS SUNDAY, Novmeber 12th!
OCC is a great ministry that helps spread the gospel of Jesus all over the world! See this excerpt from their website:
” Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God’s immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by our local church partners, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way. ”
If you want to get involved, just grab a shoebox (or take one from home), choose a gender and age group you want to shop for, fill your box, and bring it back! It is that simple! There are items that are not allowed, so make sure to check out their website HERE for more information. Also, see the table in the foyer to pick up a box, along with a label and other fun materials. Make sure to return your box THIS SUNDAY November 12th, so that Faith Church can come and collect them all in time to get them shipped out.
