Next weekend is turning into quite a day! We will have our first glimpses of our summer schedule beginning to take shape on Sunday, June 4th, as we celebrate our graduates AND start up our Ultimate Frisbee season!
We will be honoring our Kindergarten graduates, 5th grade graduates, and Senior High graduates during our 10AM Worship Service. This will be a time of celebrating their achievements and getting to know these kids that have been entrusted to us, as well as a time of prayer and connection for these youth.
Later in the day, at 4PM, the Ultimate Frisbee season will begin! This is a great outreach, and has connected our church with many unbelievers over the years! The Ultimate Frisbee games are played at the bandshell right on First Street, so many walk by and connect with people from our church. Although it can get competitive, this is a game where you should feel welcome to join in on the fun, no matter the experience or fitness level. On many evenings, after the game, the Salzmans open their house to an After Party, where the fellowship can continue. Make plans to join them!
On Wednesday, June 7th, the youth group will begin it’s summer schedule with their annual Summer Kick-Off party here at North Shore Church! All throughout the summer, the youth group enjoy many outings all over the area, the favorite ones being mini-golfing in Oconto and VR (virutal reality video games) down in Green Bay. They also have some fundraisers (can anyone else smell Justin’s wood-fired pizza?) and outreach opportunities, including helping out at Abundant Life Mission.
