For those who volunteer in some capacity on Sunday mornings, we use a scheduling program called MSP (Ministry Scheduler Pro) to do ALL of our volunteer scheduling. This past week, we had a meeting and went over how to use the program, but also the policies that NSC uses regarding how we schedule and the timeline for schedules. There is an attached pdf that I would love for you to read through regarding this. This is our policy on how we use MSP, and what is your responsibility vs. our responsibility.
Also, at North Shore Church, we want to honor your scheduling preferences, but in order to do that, we need to know what those preferences are. Attached is a form, both in pdf and Google Form formats, that will communicate just that. Please complete this form and submit it to us. We want to make sure that you are not being overburdened. We will be honoring these as we make more schedules, so there also could be some spots that are left open. Each ministry leader needs to be keeping an eye on those and making changes as needed. Each volunteer can also be looking at any open spots (you will only see the ones in which you are flagged as qualified) each week to see if they can fill in.
North Shore couldn’t function without its volunteers, and we are so blessed to have some of the best volunteers around. Please be in prayer for your ministry leaders, the ministries at NSC, as well as what God is going to do in and thru this church over the next few years. I thank you for your willingness to be a part of that Kingdom work!
